Biography
Vinod Gauba currently working as a Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon Moorefield’s Eye Hospital, Dubai, UAE. He has been the Head of Ophthalmic, Oculoplastic and Laser service. Previously he worked alongside with Professor L Cassidy (lacrimal/endoscopic surgery), Mr. P Moriarty (orbital/ oculofacial), Ms. Kate Coleman (Cosmetic oculofacial surgery), Professor Michael O’Keeffe (Refractive surgery) and many more. Having worked in most prestigious institutes and hospitals around the world as Specialist Registrar in St. James’ University Hospital, Leeds, York District General Hospital, Sussex Eye Hospital, Brighton, St. James’ Laser Vision Clinic, Bradford Royal Infirmary, Victoria Hospital, Blackpool(BVH), Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Baltimore, USA, Torbay Hospital, Torquay With extensive experience in Oculo-Facial Plastic, Orbital , Lacrimal and Refractive Surgery, CORNEA /REFRACTIVE , anterior segment, Medical Retina, Paediatric / Surgical Retina /Neuro and Glaucoma. He completed his education from Oxford and University of Leeds and post graduate University of Warwick and Associate Professorship from Illinois College of Optometry. He has many awards since his childhood and throughout his education until 2014 he won the most prestigious award as Mahatma Gandhi Gold Medal by Government of India, House of Lords, London. He has several publications related to experience in the most prestigious journals.
