Biography
Dmitry Maychuk studied Ophthalmology in S.N.Fyodorov Institute of Eye Microsurgery, Moscow, Russia and received his PhD in the area of ophthalmic drug development in 1996. Up to the year 2000 he served as a postdoctoral fellow in LSU State University Eye Center. In 2005 Dr. Maychuk defeated his Doctor of Medical Sciences dissertation in the field of dry eye. At present time Dr. Maychuk is a Head of Therapeutic Ophthalmology Department with the main focus on anterior segment inflammation. Published over 40 papers in reputed journals and is serving as a Chairman of Russian Expert Board on Ocular Inflammation.
