Biography
In 1977 she graduated from the medical faculty of the 2nd Moscow Order of Lenin State Medical Institute named after N.I. Pirogov. After the graduation she entered the Helmholtz Moscow Research Institute of Eye Diseases, where she completed clinical residency and postgraduate studies in the department of traumatology and reconstructive eye surgery. In 1985 she received her Ph.D. in medical sciences. Dissertation topic: "Endothelial microscopy in the study of the repair processes of the posterior epithelium of the cornea" (supervisor prof. R.A. Gundorova). Since 2002 she is the Academic Secretary of the Helmholtz Moscow Research Institute of Eye Diseases. She is the author of more than 30 scientific publications, rationalization proposals and patents for inventions, co-author of the monograph.
