Biography
Liudmila V. Stepanova, PhD., assistant professor of the Department of Biophysics at School of Fundamental Biology and Biotechnology, Siberian Federal University. Author of 30 scientific works on the biophysics of water-exchange processes in the structures of the eye, in particular in the lens and vitreous chamber of the eye. She proved the directional movement of aqueous humor from the anterior surface of the lens to the posterior surface with subsequent exposure to the vitreous chamber. She won, as a leader or responsible executive, 5 grants of various funds: the Krasnoyarsk Regional Science Foundation, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. Currently involved in the use of rapid analytical bioluminescent enzyme systems for preventive toxicology.
